The 15-year bonsai exhibit at the zoo has been closed due to Covid.
On Nov. 11, 2005, the Bonsai Society of Brevard club launched its permanent bonsai display at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne. For over 15 years, this unique partnership has continued to increase bonsai awareness to locals and visitors alike. BSOB actively maintains this beautiful display of tropical bonsai materials for all to enjoy. Some of the specimens are quite large ranging from 2 to 3 feet across.
